Blame on The Name Stone It’s always me, it’s always me Lies are all told Pick on the street Blame on The Name Stone It’s always me, it’s always me Lies are all told Fire Fray Look at this, all my feats are unstoppable Incredible, through you to the unseen Prevalence has been waiting for release Not so fast, dissension abysmally Hold it now, all I hear is the banter Fuck it all, stop caring, deter me By the art, the shadows come to dance Relish on breaking the government Witness, last born of thievery By myself, all myself, no one can help me Stop on this, stop on that, I am not having this For you anymore Blame on The Name Stone It’s always me, it’s always me Lies are all told Pick on the street Blame on The Name Stone It’s always me, it’s always me Lies are all told

I came across These battled lands To settle conflicts Of a damned man Been here all along To reach this pitch Decides them all Drip by drip They can try And reach right out They can try And reach right out They can try And reach right out They can try And reach right out We’re all Gone We’re all Gone We’re all Gone We’re all Gone We’re all Gone We’re all Gone We’re all Gone We’re all Strike, what have I Done, what will I Do, seeing me In all my glory Strike, what have I Done, what will I Do, seeing me In all my glory A gaze at every turn Just like all the rest A gaze at every turn Just like all the rest I came across These battled lands To settle conflicts Of a damned man damned man Been here all along To reach this pitch Decides them all Drip by drip

Like today normally, off the top Sink of swim, going all the way What’s the plan? Helpless and obvious Straight through, always a downward spin Trade away painfully Tape around drastically, a sure shot Until the blaze, open hazardly, to me Blind by side, powerless by this My Eyes, slowly Facing until they burnout Ashes, dusty, blackness Construct, restrict, deviant My Gallant Basic, limits Shall I shout now? Hollow, open, split I gotta get this done Hoping, wanting, drooling Lashing, slicing, ruling A cut above Many, costly, side a Jolly ride My Eyes, slowly Facing until they burnout Ashes, dusty, blackness Construct, restrict, deviant My Gallant Basic, limits Shall I shout now?

about

Metal duo, Architects of a Broken Design have returned with their new album, “Total Collapse”. The effort shows them maturing and expanding their trademark sound while remaining as heavy and brutal as they did when formed in 2003.

Multi-Instrumentalist, William J. Sullivan touches on how the album is a shift from standard subjects that Architects... material has previously been based on.

“With this album I found myself coming to terms with the fact that Jon and I probably won’t perform with this project again. We live on different coasts, have our own individual careers and very little time. The album title is pulled from that, while also being a dedication to one of our favorite bands. I wanted to play into the hopelessness of our situation, the name of our group and apply that to a larger picture. When we started this project in our early 20’s we looked at the world in a different way. Now that we’re almost 40, the terms “Broken Design” and “Total Collapse” mean a much different, but real thing to us. Take the homeless and environmental problems where I live in California as examples”.

Vocalist, Jon Costello Said, “It’s been a pleasure to be a part of this project since the begging. I’m most proud of these songs and the effort that I put into them. I really wanted them to hit home and I believe we did that”.

“Total Collapse” is a pounding 24 minute rollercoaster ride of down-tuned groove for fans of Meshuggah, Periphery, Suicide Silence, Dillinger Escape Plan and others. The album comes out March 6th, 2020 via Wreckin’ Joint Productions. It can be streamed or downloaded on all major streaming services and digital retailers. Check out the single, “The Name Stone” available February 21st!
